Material Specifications

VINYL  

Our athletic mats, landing surfaces and preschool fun shapes are covered with either 13-18 oz. or 20-50 oz. vinyl and are all reinforced with polyester scrim.

These Vinyls are:

• Rot, Mildew & Water Resistant
• Anti-Fungal & Anti-Bacterial
• Flame Retardant upon request
• Phalate Free
• Meet NFPA 701 standard and ULC S-109 large scale test
• Clean with mild soap and water

Blue, Green, Yellow, Red, Black, White, Pink and Purple. Custom colors are available.

PRESS FASTENERS / HOOK & LOOP

(2") allow mats to be joined quickly and easily, either end-to-end (2 sides) or on (4 sides).

THREADS

The heavy duty vinyl cover is double stitched with nylon thread: T:135(B/S 25 lbs).

MAT FILLERS

Characterized by a light weight, firm and stable surface. Mainly used by experienced athletes.

REBOND FOAM

Recycled polyurethane foam. Rebond foam os a heavier foam with good impact absorbing qualities. 3lb -12lb.

POLYURETHANE FOAM

100 ILD

2.2 lb. density. Firm, but forgiving surface. Used for tumbling and fitness.
 
55 ILD

1.5 lb. density. The preferred foam for all special shapes. 

1-1.25 lb. density. Used for rest mats and safety cushions.
